Ahmed Alruwaithi, PMP®, is a certified professional Project Manager with ten years of experience in the largest oil full-conversion Refinery in the Kingdom, the Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (Yasref) Ltd. He is currently serving as the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) of the company, leading a Transformation Program with more than 50 profitability initiatives that shall result in a major annual benefit under several workstreams such as Operations, Maintenance, Capital Projects, and Shared Services. Ahmed is a master in Projects development, organizational governance, growth plans, and engaging stakeholders at all levels (shareholders, Board of Directors, government entities, neighboring facilities, and others). He is also the head of the Facilities Planning and Capital Projects division. Ahmed is an active member of the Yanbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, targeting to promote the tourism sector in Yanbu city. Through this sector, he has been engaged in several successful commercial and residential projects (food & beverage concepts, residential compounds, and buildings). In his past roles, Ahmed has served as the Facilities Planning & Capital Projects Superintendent, where he was responsible for directing the Company Facilities Planning & Capital Projects, including five/three-years’ Operating & Business development and leading the Company growth plan for 10 years. He has also served as a Process Engineer for the major unit in the Refinery (Crude Distillation Unit), where he handled all of the unit technical activities from day-to-day, Management of Change, process optimization, troubleshooting, and others. Ahmed has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Yanbu Industrial College and has completed a course in English from Lewis School, Southampton, UK. He has relevant experience of 9.86 years and is proficient in Senior Software Engineering and Integration.
